If the spot in question is on a state-maintained road outside town limits, NCDOT Division 8 handles driveway and encroachment permits instead.

Usually, yes — mattresses are fine in most residential cleanout loads. Let us know ahead of time if you're loading several, since bulky items take up volume fast.

Most appliances are fine, though some — like refrigerators or units with refrigerant — may need to have that refrigerant removed first depending on local rules. Ask us when you book so we can tell you what applies to your load.
